Web design encompasses a variety of disciplines and skills in the creation and maintenance of sites on the World Wide Web. The various disciplines of web design include web graphics design; user interface (UI) design; content writing, including different forms of markup; and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). There are also subdisciplines in web design, such as website development, user research, and e-commerce design.
Most individuals involved in the creation and maintenance of web sites do not have formal training or education in the area of web design, even though it is an essential component of the industry. Most web designers learn their craft through trial and error and by studying existing successful sites. Many of the tools and methods that web designers use to design a website are learned through intense self-study. However, some of these tools and methods can be taught to others, through formal education, by working with online mentors, or by applying the knowledge gained from other disciplines, such as anthropology, English, and graphic design.

A major component of web design involves problem solving. Problem solving is a skill in which web designers explore problems with the idea of how to find a solution. In the realm of web design, problem solving often involves soliciting feedback from clients and potential clients and incorporating that information into the overall plan. Web designers also may use brainstorming and document building processes to generate ideas for new pages, services, and products. Although most web designers spend a lot of time brainstorming, it is important to remember that brainstorming alone is rarely sufficient enough to produce a successful website design.

Other factors play a large role in web design work. Many designers work in close collaboration with marketing professionals and developers. These professionals often serve as consultants for web designers, particularly those who are hired on a contract basis. A good designer  from marz web solutions will work well with these other professional and may play an even greater role in web design work by coordinating the efforts of all of these people. These individuals may do a variety of tasks, including web design research, user research, usability testing, creation of proposal's review, and so forth.

Interaction design is another important facet of web design work. Interaction design is the process of designing websites that include elements such as video, sound, images, and text. A key component of interaction design is navigation, which is defined as the set up of links from one place to another within a website. Web designers may work closely with content developers in developing the overall look and feel of a website, although interaction designers will sometimes collaborate directly with web developers in the initial stages of the project.

User experience design is another important facet of web design work. User experience design refers to the careful consideration of what a user will do when he/she comes to a website and where that user will go while browsing through it. It may be to find out what the best way to use a particular feature of a website is, or to find a way to make it easier for a user to perform a certain task on a website. Often, user research is also part of this process, as users will often want to be able to get specific information about a product.  Take a look at this link: https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_design for more information about this topic.
